PRIVACY POLICY

RMKSOUND Oy ("we", Ilmajoki, Finland) collects as little personal
data as possible. This page describes plainly what is collected,
why, and what is not.
1. The applications
RMKSOUND applications (SOUNDINDX, MIXINDX, RECINDX) contain
no analytics and no tracking. Your audio files and
projects stay on your device. The applications connect to the
network only for:
- License activation — your license key and a
device name are sent to our merchant of record (Lemon Squeezy) to
activate or deactivate a seat. Activation is needed once; the
applications work fully offline afterwards.
- Update checks — the applications fetch a
version file from rmksound.net. No personal data is sent.
- Key Match listening (SOUNDINDX) — microphone
or system audio is analyzed on your Mac only. Audio is never
recorded to disk or sent anywhere.
2. Purchases
Purchases are processed by
Lemon Squeezy as merchant
of record. Lemon Squeezy handles your payment details and billing
information under its own
privacy policy;
we never see your card number. We receive order information (name,
email, country, product) needed to deliver and support your
license.
3. The website
- Forms — if you subscribe to the mailing list,
contact us, or download via the email gate, we store the details
you submit (email address, message) on our hosting provider
Netlify. We use them only to reply and to send occasional
RMKSOUND news, on the basis of your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).
Before the first mailing you will receive a one-time message
asking you to confirm your subscription; only confirmed addresses
stay on the list. Every mailing includes an unsubscribe option —
or just reply "unsubscribe".
- No advertising trackers. We may use
privacy-preserving, server-side visit statistics that do not use
cookies or identify you.
- No cookies. This site sets no cookies at all,
which is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to
consent to. The site uses your browser's local storage only for
strictly functional purposes (remembering your language choice
and that you have already given your email for a download), and
that data never leaves your browser.
4. Retention
Mailing list and contact data are kept until you ask us to
delete them or the purpose ends. Order data is kept as long as
bookkeeping law requires.
5. Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you may request
access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and
you may object to its use. Email

are handled personally and promptly. You also have the right to
lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman
(tietosuoja.fi).
